Hesitation before startup

As is typical, I rode home on the highway for 15 miles and shut off the engine around 430pm yesterday.
This morning around 830am (approx. 16 hours later) it fires up as always but with the usual hesitation, again as always. FWIW it was 45degrees outside.
It's nothing problematic I'm just wondering what's the cause and how to fix it, my only fear is that when the temperature gets colder it may not start.
This issue was present before changing carbs, intake, plugs, and air cleaner.

Probably just the cold making the engine a little harder to turn over. Sounds like my bike if it sits too long without being run. The compression releases only stay open for one second. Try pushing one down by hand when you start it. It should turn over easier.

IMO, you found the idiosyncrasy of the bike. When it gets over the hump it lights right off first time. No other time did you fire it twice. Idle means all jet circuits are clean. Intake says no leaks. Plugs say not fouled. Air cleaner says not dirty and rich choking. You found what it wants. Get it? I've seen it personally so when I see sluggish starting, I want fresh metal contact at the battery ground strap at both ends and new bare metal at the frame to cable contact. Here's the other variable; if it lights right off in the hotter days, then say ground integrity passes. Whereas, CCA means 'cold cranking amps'... get it?
"Lowering the ambient temperature causes chemical reactions to proceed more slowly, so a battery used at a low temperature produces less current than at a higher temperature. As cold batteries run down they quickly reach the point where they cannot deliver enough current to keep up with the demand."

Try bypassing the the system and jump from + to started solenoid (green wire on starter)
If it spins right away check all electrical connections and install a SLAM button to have backup.

Enricher will make the bike crank more sluggish. Also check your CR's for proper function. 2 twists of the throttle, not 5.
