Just came back from Hershey Pa with the family. While there I took my older son to the AACA Museum where there were plenty of automobiles, motorcycles, buses, etc on display. I must say this was the best part of my trip there. Here are some pics I hope everyone enjoys. http://www.aacamuseum.org/
This is a 1912 Harley Davidson with a 30 c.i. 4.3 hp motor that retailed for $265.
This is a 1910 Arrow IOE single, 4hp motor that retailed for $225. Arrow Motor Co, Chicago, Illinois.
1911 Minneapolis, unknown motor, retailed for $265
1912 Reading Standard. Belt drive model from Reading, Pa
1923 Norton
1946 Whizzer from the Whizzer Motor Co Pontiac, Michigan. 4 cycle 138 cc, 2.5 hp, retailed for $97.559
1932 Studebaker, model 55 Saint Regis base price $915, 230 c.i. 6 cycl 80 hp
1914 Stearns-Knight, Cleveland Ohio. 6 cycl, 43 hp
Sorry forgot the info on this Caddy
This one was very intersting. 1919 Briggs & Stratton model "J" Flyer, one cyl 2hp base price $175. In the early 1900's Briggs & Stratton were manufacturers of automotive accessories which diversified into production of actual vehicles.
Can't forget the Kissmobile
Last but not least my son tried driving out the front door in this one but got nabbed by security. LOL !!!!! My son enjoyed this museum just as much as I did. These kids need to see and explore the history and the roots of what made this country so great. Maybe 50 years from now we may see a Big Dog in there.
