Help with WP and running lights not working

Okay bike is back together and got it to fire up. I am having issues getting the running lights and headlight to work. I plan on going through the wiring harness to check connections. Is there any way to check the (WP) module to see if its working?

The headlight harness is in good condition already replaced the entire headlight and wiring harness (old one was melted ).

I'd start by checking ALL the grounds. I missed a couple when I did the WP. Then I had two connections that were not tight. I bet that will be what ya find...? Good luck n when are we gonna get to see those speakers???

The unit is bad it has power coming in no power out. called WP today and they game me a RMA to return the unit and are going to send me a new one. lets see how that pans out... so I leave for deployment in 2 weeks and "need to get some riding in" going to ride it for 2 weeks and then send out the unit...

Pictures coming soon will post once I have a moment been getting ready to head out the door for 6 months .....

Seems like we've had a rash of bad units coming out of the wires plus camp lately. What's up wit dat?

The unit is bad it has power coming in no power out. called WP today and they game me a RMA to return the unit and are going to send me a new one. lets see how that pans out... so I leave for deployment in 2 weeks and "need to get some riding in" going to ride it for 2 weeks and then send out the unit...

I have had the unit installed for about 3 years with no issues until I tore the bike down. At least for now they are standing behind their product. I am riding without a headlight for now but it is damn good to be on the road again!

I am having the same trouble. came out of the bar and turn the key and a flicker and no lights. turn signal works, bike runs great. not sure what to do at this point. removed the battery leads, checked what I could. could it be one of the tail lights or headlight has shorted?

If you can't find a fix there is a simple solution. Run a pos wire with a temp switch from the battery with a 15 amp fuse to the headlight/tail light wires under the seat. Hit the switch and you're good to go. I put the push button switch under the back side of the seat. You could also hook up the pos wire to the relay from the key switch. Good luck.

The issue I had was one of the pins was not fully seated in the jst connectors . It wasn't making good contact.
