Help with wire plus install 2003

Installing a wire plus WP 381. Down to the indicator bundle install. Have all wire connected but one. It says to hook purple to black. Problem all I have left is white and black. Yes all other wires are color matched correctly. The connection sheet has the original colors crossed out and some different colors penciled in. Has anyone ran into this? The ehc I believe has been changed . It is a Big Dog ehc module Part # BD4030-1B with a manufacture date of March 2004 and it is an 03 bike.

Problem Found

Don't know why but the instruction sheet wire colors had been changed. Went with the original big dog colors and problem solved. Thanks to Curtis.

I had the same problem on my 04 chopper. Said 04 but, my heads were tapped for compression releases but I had no compression releases. Plus no factory tach. One of the members told me to call BD with my Vin #. And find out when it was built so I did. What I was told was I actually have a 2003 bike built to 2003 specs but it was built late in 2003 and got a 2004 built date on the title. So to help you out. Look at the wiring specs of a 2003.
