Got a question on installing the front end.
1. When I removed the front end I loosened the lower triple tree and then lifted the entire front end out of the neck tube with the upper triple tree still attached to the forks. I slid the lower triple tree down and rested on the lower forks.
2. While installing it I did this in reverse and slid the front end up and down through the neck tube and slid the lower triple tree up to the lower neck tube:
I am having a hell off a time getting the lower triple tree to align and not able to get the center bolt to thread.
3. Has anyone tried to install their front end this way? I am leaning toward removing the forks from the trees and installing the triple trees first and then sliding the forks through the triple trees as shown in all the how to's on this.
