Help with forward controls for k9

Purchased kit off eBay said to be for k9. I'm either doin something wrong or have the wrong kit. Forward clevis lines up close to frame down tube causing interference once bolt, spacer, nut installed. I can make it work using shorter bolt and spacer but it just don't seem right. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Pictures would be better.. but I know there are some shorter bolts that were included with the kit I put on my 04 Ridgeback when I had it. Post up some pics for us to see!

I switched from factory to extended on my 07 K9 and it required different lengths on a few of the bolts. You can pick up stainless at Lowes that will do the trick.

thanks. kit i purchased on ebay stated p/n 163000014-02 polished billet control kit will fit all models from 2004-present. which is almost correct. after researching big dog website that p/n does apply to every year k9 except the 06 which uses p/n bdm160-0023. must be somethin different about it. i'll just have to make it work. thanks again.

I have a 6 inch extention on my K-9 and the spacer was to long and hit the down tube like you said we fix it by cuting off about 1/4 of an inch off the spacer works great now hope this helps.

Forward controls on 06 K9

I had to cut the spacer and shorten the bolt where the linkage attached to the shifter.
