i could really use some help. want to get a lift but don't know what would be a good one. really like working on my dog but on the ground is getting old. i"ve had some issues in life that are makeing it hard to stay on the ground to wrench. i know some have the pro cycle. so i looked into them couple months ago. now i'm ready to buy and the dealer says can't sell you one of those because another dealer has distributer ship in area. ok i go there everything is fine until paying.everything is ala cart plus freight charge for something right in front of me. should of added that in to price before telling me wtf. does anyone know if the gregg smith lifts are good? holds 1500 lbs has the drop tail plus the side extensions for quads and will throw in a black jack. out the door for 1080.56. im not loooking for the cheapest just a good reliable one. thanx, sorry didn't think i was that winded. thanx again :2thumbs::2thumbs:

I's got the direct lift From G. Smith equipment, 1000 lb rating. got the blackjack as well as the 12" side extensions. Use it for the bike and the extensions hold all the tools and parts and pcs. also use it for the lawn mower, or any thing else i want to stand up or sit on a stool with a cold one and work on

Also my 08 Ridgeback does fit with out the chopper extension!

Look at harbor freight. They have a lift that goes up 30" and has straps for the bike.. It only like 2 1/2in. off the ground. It was on sale this week for $150.00.. I didn't see that you wanted a table lift..

and then there is always the tried and true yellow mc lift from sears. the red one is not hardly as stable as the yellow. but there again, the title of the thread is about a "table lift".

Hey, Check out "completehydraulics.com" for a lift table. They have one kit (TCMLW) that has table lift, side extensions, drop out tail, wheel clamp, scissor jack and adjustible chopper extension. It sells for 800.00 plus freight. I purchased one for myself and had 4 other friends that purchased same lift and we split freight bill. We have had no problems and have had em for 2 years. They have a choice of 2 powdercoat color combinations. Great lift for the money.

the one i'm looking at is the atlas hi rise 1500 . was just wondering if anyone thought it would be compareable to the direct lift. it's at gregg smith they say it is but they sell them w/ direct lift. other company that has distributership not really happy with. let me know on atlas if anyone knows.thanx :2thumbs: the atlas is supposed to be the same as the xlt-dt hyperlund glad that lift is working out for you. it's just these are here.along with some handy lifts w/quad set up thanx again.

I have the Atlas 4 post lift from Greg Smith, also have the Direct Lift Pro Park8000plus they look Identical and are the same in all dimesions and lift capacity. So I beleive that since Greg Smith sells so many the had Direct Lift Manf. The Atlas as a private brand for them. I wouln't hesitate to try the Atlas.

I know this thread is about a lift but are the floor jacks like the craftsman yellow stable enough ALONE for detailing and minor maintenance (ie-oil change)? I have alot of aluminum so alot of rubbing:rolleyes:

I would go with a lift but no place for it currently.

thanks

I got a chance to check these out at the V-Twin Expo earlier this year. Great lifts. They said if we set up with them as a dealer, they would even drop ship direct to the customer and bill us. This cuts quite a bit of money out of what we would have to charge.

We never got the paperwork turned in but if someone is interested, I can get things rolling again. I would have to submit paperwork for approval before I can quote a price.
