So I'm moving from jersey to Tucson. Riding the chopper cross country. Well it's 1:33 am on Friday night and a rear wheel bearing on my brake side just shit the bed. It's a 2003 chopper. Is anyone local here. I gotta get back on the road. I have the moving company to meet

Shit bro Pecos isn't a great place to get stranded. Your closest is going to Midland/Odessa. You should be able to find a shop there. I know their Harley shop is huge but they must have a custom place as well.

There used to be a guy who owned a dog in Midland and had a shop at his house I can't remember the name and I haven't seen him around the forum in years unfortunately.

Unfortunately Texas is a big ass state and your not even the least bit close to me.

The ride cross country sounds fun though always an adventure!

Just looked through My messages the member was 'Dale4713' he is still active on here actually

I was stuck in Lamesa Texas once with my dad his Harley broke down but Dale had recommended Midland Power Sports 432-697-7672

You are kinda in no-mans land Texas right now going to have to backtrack.

Good luck sorry I can't be of more help. I rode through Pecos back in April ain't shit around you man.

Make sure you get yourself fixed today we got stranded on a Sunday and nothing is open had to wait all day till Monday.

You could always rent a van if there is a ryder or a place to rent one and haul the bike. You can get a bearing at any auto store and they may know someone with a auto shop that can help ya get it fixed.... bummer bro...

I rented a uhaul truck when we got stuck in Lubbock but we had two bikes to haul. That's another option as well they have decent ramps.

I don't know If you can get a dog into a van I feel like handlebars may hit when loading....maybe

Tattoo what's the update ? Assume your good since you haven't commented??

Tattoo, I'm previously from the Odessa area.
You best bet will be Legacy Harley 432 561 8991 or Bearing Supply 432 366 8855 both of which are in Odessa.
Not gonna be much between Odessa & El paso except tumbleweeds & rattlesnakes unfortunately.
