Help rebuilding front brake

Help I'm sitting in my enclosed trailer trying to fix my front brake. Lever went limp over winter I added fluid. No idea it took for 5 my bad. Now I know and have some. I ordered rebuild kit. When pulling it apart I took out snap ring and the rest shot out. I have all the parts new and old. Which way does the white plunger go in oring in or oring out if you could supply a picture it would mean a lot. Until then sitting on a stool in the trailer.

Maybe this will help, it's from Curtis site. He usually has exploded views there. Also if you mixed fluid types you will need to purge out your line good, because the mixure will turn into gel.

Yea if you happening to put in DOT3 you are going to have to run something through the line to clean that out. DOT5 and DOT3 DON'T MIX.

Ok. Number 4 looks like a washer. The new rebuild kit from wild steed doesn't have that but has a thicker looking one about a 1/4 thick with a rubber gromet looking thing in the middle. Do I just use the one supplied or do I use them both?

If I put the washer thing in with the gromet then the washer and boot doesn't fit. Is this a upgrade?

The only old pieces I would think you need to re-use is, Numbers 1 and 2. Thats it...

#4 is just a washer. Manual says "Washer, Master Cylinder Piston Retainer"

number 2 doesn't fit with the thicker washer, but I think that's the point the thicker washer has a rubber grommet in it I think taking the place of the rubber boot.
