Help Please

Ok this is my situation. I tried to start my bike but the battery was dead. I hooked it up to my car. It started to turn over but did not have enough juice to start, so I took it off. I purchased a new battery. Now when I turn on the bike. The horn blows non-stop and it will not turn over at all. I’m not sure if I jacked something up or what. I would like to fix the issue myself but I have very limited experience, time, and equipment. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like the new battery still needs to be charged up, Try putting it on a charger for a while.

It has to do with your battery. it is either not charged or it has very low CCA and will not turn the motor over. You need at lease 330 CCA to get this puppy going. TOMIOKA-RACING TR -B1500 is what I use and fits perfect in the battery box.

If you think your harness has a short and want to replace everything I would go with DOCs ehc replacement.

I second that!! Just finished installing one on my 2010 EFI Bulldog Bagger. Runs like a banshee. it's an easy install with good instructions, and D o c will answer all phone calls.

That's the Big Dog factory. It comes with part of the wiring harness that You'll need to pull the gas tank and replace.

That's the Big Dog factory. It comes with part of the wiring harness that You'll need to pull the gas tank and replace.

I believe the pic shown is a RIP II, no need to remove tank.

I also have D O C 's ESC in mine, it gets rid of the desk top connectors completely.
