Help or info needed

Hi all, :hi:
i am a newbie here, i have 1 2005 mastiff and the drive housing has a bad crack, the part i am asking about is the cover for the final drive from the gearbox, it has bdm balance drive written on it, and its where the clutch cable enters the gearbox housing. can this part be welded or is there somewhere i can get a replacement part at a reasonable cost ?? plus the rocker covers are badly corroded and need either a re-chrome or replacement any help with these parts would be appreciated. thanks and regards to all

Sounds to me like he needs the Front pully cover. That is the only thing that the clutch cable goes into other than the handle bar lever. He also need the rocker covers.

Yes they still make them things and KaptanAmerica may have some or can get you waht you need. Or try Bigdogpartskin on e-bay he usually carries both of what you are looking for. :2thumbs:

Thanks guys yep the motor is a S&S 117 and yes it is the front pully cover, i think its made from cast alloy so might be a big problem to weld i dont know ?. the cover is still on the bike as i would like to make sure repairs or parts can be replaced before i strip the bike down for winter as i want to rebuild the motor and gearbox before putting it back together again. as i am really enjoying the ride at the moment but i want her looking the best for next summer. thanks to all of you guys for for offering help and info.

Hi all thanks again, i have emailed some pics to you (KaptinAmerika) i am sorry there not great but there isnt much room to get a camera under the tanks, i hope that you can see which parts they are. thanks again and regards
