Help on Unlocking the EHC for tunning

The 2009 wolf comes with a locked EHC for EPA compliance. In Maryland the are no emissions on Motorcycles. Most of the Harley riders I have talked to explain that it is an option to have the EHC unlocked at the dealership.

I have talked to S&S and they will not turn over the "box file" or code to unlock the EHC. (Claiming its against the law)

Does anyone out there have the "box file" that the pro tune software is asking for?

Has anyone had any sucess with unlocking the EHC?

A little guidence please.

Buy the S&S VFI unit. I just did that to my bike. Whole new bike after you get it un-locked. Look under the EFI Forum.

Ditto...just changed mine out today on the BBC to the "Race Only" version --which S&S is of course happy to sell to you. Bike is running better and I've not swapped out the cams yet.

Probably some way to "unlock" an OEM version, but you'd be bootlegging code that may cause problems.

I had to change the unit to the S & S unlocked version for added preformance. Also changed the cams and the throttle body as well as added the dual runner air cleaner. Totally a different running bike

How many miles you got since you did that? I'm into the same scenario. 600 cam,ported polished heads,dual induction,exhaust etc. How you liking it?

Do like it. I been running this for about 7,000 miles now.

Do not know anyone that can hack open the stock S&S VFI module. The only way is to buy an new one that S&S will gladly sell you. I know it sucks but that's the way it is.
