Help needed

07 k-9 won't start when I turn key on EHC lights come on for a half of sec then they are off. I check battery it tested good. Any ideals ? Checking connection now

Sounds like your ignition switch might be bad or you have a bad/loose connection. Several of us have had the switch go bad and changed it out. I used the tractor switch and it's been working great ever since.

I check some but not all connections but it does the same thing over & over turn key on EHC lights come on just a half sec then off again it could be the ignition switch maybe but one tomorrow & try it

Did you remove the battery connections recently?
Sounds like the kind of behavior you get when the EHC ground has not been connected at the battery.

I haven't removed battery connections. It ran and started fine last time I drove it

Ok here the deal checking to see if the ignition switch was good by jumping wires it finally would cycle got me excited then went to start, nothing but compression release engaging gave the green wire a little lovein BAM she running while I'm cleaning up stuff & getting ready to ride horn honks flasher are flashing & it quits. done this four times with each time it runnin a little longer. So I say hell with drive around close to see how it is going to act end up putting 50+ miles without a problem except going gas station to fill up and the cap would spin but not come off so a quick trip to the house to pry it off fix the cap where it is solid now can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring
