Help needed

Hey guys, this is my first attempt ever to do any wrenching on my bike. After reading posts here for the past 2 yrs. I want to do this myself. I need to remove the front wheel to send off to get a fat lip repaired. I want to avoid the dealers.

Can anyone provide a diagram from the 'Service Manual' on the assembly of the front wheel for an '07 K9?? I plan on buying a Service Manual soon for future reference but would like to see the details of the front wheel now so I can get my bike back on the road. I was advised by a local repair shop that I can put a tube in the interim but that is not the way I want to go.

p.s. I have some Wizrds product comng in Friday so this down-time will be used for polishing:up:

After further review I did find a sticky thread here on doing this. Can't see the pictures here at work. Will have to wait till I get home tonight.

Here is a PDF file for an '05. Not sure what the differences may be. If this doesn't open, send me a PM with an addy and I'll send it to you direct.
