Help needed in pricing of new dog

Just need a little professional advice here guys!!!!
Looking at a new puppy...new 08 K-9 ...What is a good straight out purchase price for this beast?? Middle of the road options about level 2 or 3 paint meaning the usual flames and nothing else special that I can see...Retail at $32,000 according to the dealer.

straight out cash with level 2/3, should be able to ride out around 27,500. remember, K9, is the #1 puppy.

Remember too...the '09's will be rolling out in September and they'll likely be a little more motivated to move the '08's pretty soon.

Not sure if it helps but I purchase my K9 the end of June with a level 5 paint and it was just under 33k.

PT, I'm looking at a K-9 also. Either 07 or 08. With the $3000 cash allowance on an 07 you should be able to buy in the $27K range if you hold out. An 08 has $2000 cash allowance.

The $4000 applies to some 07's if you can find em. But the rebates are good now on 08's as well. they may get better but the color selection will start to dwindle. If the color is REALLY important you may want to search dealer websites and step up soon. My 08 Ridge in Jan was $26'500, black with red ghost flames ordered by dealer. (BD had a fair amount of black bikes available and pulled one to add the flames including the battery covers.)

Chopper, Still in negoeations to get the price where it needs to be. Issue is I am wanting to trade a perfect 97 HD Wideglide and my Ridgeback for his o8 K-9...They are a good dealership so I just gotta find time to get back with the owner and see what we can work out...He has three o8 K-9 so I feel he should be willing to work with me on this...
