HELP....NEED COMPUTER

ok my dealer informed me that my computer went.its an 07 k9, and he also informed big dog has none and wont get any in until sept...wtf....anyways does anyone have one compatible for that bike....also where else could i find one. this really sucks:bang:

That sucks I hate a down bike. :angry:You will find that most of the guys on here are switching to the Wire Plus.Allows removal of BDM factory EHC module and to keep factory
hand controls, ignition, charging system and factory harness.

contact jake,he goes by bdmridgeback on here,he sell the wire plus kit,with this kit you get rid of the ehc all together.no more ehc problems.it cost about the same

I just bought the WP kit .....will install when I get back. I have not had an EHC issue to date....just switching over.

I would be highly upset if this happened to me...heres the great thing....with the time the bike is down you can spend some time on this site reading through the archives and getting yourself aquanted with the rest of the stuff you will find yourself questioning....this way you can familiarize yourself with some of the potential other issues that will come up and then know you can come inside here and get information to fix these problems..........good luck with your decision on what to do here....I have been around here for a few years and had my bike since 2007 and knowing what I do and being through what i have i would spend the extra money ,and go with the WIRE PLUS package and alleviate most of your future issues right outta the gate

heres an update....the day i posted this i decided to call a few local dealers. my dealer did try , but sometimes you have to do it yourself. i was able to locate a computer about 70 miles from my house. i think that really sucks that big dog , knowing this a common problem, doesnt have access to or stock these. telling a customer that spends alot of money on there product they have to wait 3 -4 months, especially in heart of season, is completely unacceptable. thanks for the input guys
