HELP.. Loose tube

Hi everyone,

I dont know much about bikes so I could use some help. i was washing my bike this morning and found a loose tube, looks like part of it was melted from the engine. I took off the air filter to see if i could find where it came off of but wasnt sure. the tube smell like gas goes through it. Im sure its nothing big but dont want to mess around with it . heres a pick, hope it helps.

Looks like overflow to me that routes to the bottom of the bike.

By the looks from the picture the other end is already routed up to the carb, so that end should be loose, it is the carb overflow tube looks like it got melted on the cylinder. It should just pass along side of your rear cylinder and dump down behind your crankcase. If the other end is in fact attached to your carb, you can just trim off the meted end and route it as mentioned above. :2thumbs:
