Help in installing air cleaner

I need some help, I have this West Coast Choppers Maltese air cleaner and Im not sure how to hook it up. Specifically the breather hoses.

should I use a bracket like this one that eliminates the hoses, so they say, I dont want to use the hanging type of breathers as they make a mess, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You can use that bracket as your motor doesn't breath through the head bolts like the one you listed. See Wimmer for the bracket you need.

You might be able to use that bracket with regular bolts and just run the rear hose to the ground but you may as well get the one made for your motor.

Hey Raywood, called wimmer and they laughed at me and said they could not help me, unless I was buying their whole setups. So My question is if our engines dont breath through the head bolts do I even need a bracket? Bikes in the shop so I cant look at it but I thought our rear breather hose connected to the backing plate on our air filters am I wrong. If Im right where would the hose connect to without a Bracket. I really have never looked at how its set up so I am not knowledgable about how its set up, Thanks again

You need some kind of support bracket or you will likely cause intake leaks.

Your right that hose does connect to the backplate but i just bought a crank case breather with a bracket and bolted it to the head looks really good there
