Got it!!! in Facebook an UK mate of mine gave me a good pointer... Mercury Motors... are Imperial... I live on the Coast... plenty here.... I had a couple guys on Facebook who sorted me out in a couple minutes!

It's funny to see some one so excited about something I can drive a mile down the road and get tons of in standard or metric threads. Big difference in countries.

watch out for them British Standard threads......... My BSA 650 Lightning had em and sucked back then.
