Help I need a screw!

Anyone know where I can get an allen set screw for the headlight trim ring??

you prolly get one at any hardware store!! just ride your bike over there, cuz I gots no idea wat size!!!

Any hardware store with a good selection of hex screws will have one. The allen wrench size is 1/16. So if you take that wrench with ya, look for an allen screw to fit the wrench and it's only about an 1/8" to 1/4" in length at most.

Take a look in your service manual it may have the size of the screw.

Thanks Earl. I checked the service manual and couldn't find anything. It looks like a corse thread also. Hardware store it is!!

It is a 6-32 x 1/8 long set screw. I bought one at home depot over the weekend but he shortest one they had was 3/16 long. You could grind it off or let it stick out a hair.

If you have a Sears Hardware or Do it Best or Ace or maybe even NAPA or fastenal.

Thanks Oldmutt I'm not at home this week and did not have access to the sizes. I have a couple of spare screws just in case.

I ordered the set screw from Lena. I didn't see it at Lowes. It was very cheap and I was ordering other stuff too, so I didn't have to pay any unnecessary shipping costs.
