Help? Badlands brake module

Anyone ever put in a badlands brake module? I have a 2003 Chopper and have been through 2 ehcs. Both worked perfectly but then lost the brake light/ self canceling turns. Everything else is fine. But I dont have brake lights. ( well as of last night I have no lights in back, but havent looked into it.) I was thinking of just adding an aftermarket brake module and bypassing the ehc portion. So before I drop the $$ on the badlands module does anyone have any insight or other suggestions.

Thanks

Well in my opinion if you have already gone through 2 EHC's you may just have to go with the wire plus or whatever they offer for your year bike. Your gonna have to cut the wires eitherway. Your just postponing whats bound to happen....no headlight....no start. I would look into that. If this module your talking about is big $$ then it only makes sense to me to fix it once and for all.

Thanks,
No the ehcs are fine. its just the brake light portion. very little work actually. badlands unit is only $100. But I thought about just using a few relays to run the brakes. Im not gonna go to the wires plus. If My ehcs die and cause real issues Id just rewire the bike real simply my self.

Being an 03 chopper the first thing I would check is the wiring under the fender.
Make sure it hasn't been rubbed through by the tire.
