about to pull my last few hairs out...tore bike down for new powdercoat on frame and swingarm...had tranny rebuilt also...set in engine...it has a little movement when mounting bolts are loose...set in tranny, bolted up karata motor plate. tranny sits flat on frame tranny mount plate...less than 4 ths at the 6 mount bolts...install rear wheel and new belt...heres the problem. the belt wants to run all the way inside and against the tranny housing, not much, just barly touches it. ive moved the engine and tranny around as much as the mounting holes will allow...maybe 1/4 inch. The 2 bolted together wont move straight sidways or straight back and forth, more of a cockeyed movement...now if you spin the wheel backwards the damn belt slides over and runs right in the center of the tranny pulley and the center of the rear belt pulley and stays there...spin forward and it goes up next to tranny box...swing arm is right back where it was before with shims and new spherical bearings...calipers show it centered. took motor plate off and loosely bolted tranny to tranny plate in several different spots and same thing belt works its way over against tranny housing....what next.
