I wear a bilt full face helmet all the time , I used to wear a half helmet but got sick of it being lifted off my head on the highway. I really love the full face with blue tooth intergration. Very quiet highway rides

Anything DOT/ECE is good. Snell is a little better but till recently Modulars would not pass Snell, I believe the latest Snell standard now has a provision for modular helmets, but anything in Europe must pass ECE standards so if it has a DOT/ECE number it is good. Then it comes down to materials, poly, fiberglass, carbon fiber.... The better the material the lighter the helmet. BUT each maker has a little different design and fit. HJC do not fit my head. I hate everything about they way their helmets fit me. My Bell fits perfect. I tried on a Schuberth C3 Pro and it did not fit well but the C4 fit great. NOTE - The C4 had some design issues that longtime Schuberth users did not like and there will be a new C4 Pro coming out. A lot of places have the C4 on clearance. The Shoei fit nice but it is a $700 helmet. So good really depends on what you are looking for. To me a helmet is like underwear. Just because it is more expensive does not make it better. They all fit and feel different, but when you find the right one, you will know it. (back to helmets) Try as many on as you can. Walk around the store for at least 10 mins. This will give you idea of how it will feel as you ride. Also, are you looking to use a com unit or head phones/ear buds? Some now have integrated BT speakers or spots to plug your module into without an extra mount (good/bad????). I tried on the Bilt from cycle gear and it was ok. The Sedici brand is a bit better, just not to my liking.yes im going to go full face i seen a guy lose half his face from a half helmet do not need that. just looking for a good one.
