I own one from skull crush a kevlar carbon fiber mesh weave with memory foam liner and it fits much like a novelty but 10 times stronger than a DOT...recommend them highly

Fits well with no mushroom. Best to try on though. I usually wear a medium but I went XS to be in the smaller shell size and if fits perfect.

I bought a KBC Ed Hardy that's DOT approved cause I liked the red lined studded straps & it feels light & safe. They are getting hard to find but I've seen them as low as $39. Google search. Maybe Amazon. I love mine.

Doesn't DOT require a 1.00 inch side or wall thickness? Anything less is a novelty helmet.

Do you have a picture of the helmet on your head? I've got a non DOT helmet from head trip helmets. I think it just as good as a DOT without the sticker. My primary concern is safety without the mushroom look, not law. It would be nice to have safety and have a legal helmet that didn't look ridiculous.
