Hello new guys

Knows some things
I keep a watch on the new guys signing up on here, and it amazes me how many never say anything, or do an introduction. Here at Big Dog biker, we tend to think of ourselves as family. When someone new signs on, it kind of like we gain a new in-law. The only way to find out more about you is if you go to forums at the top of the page and do an introduction.
From here there is another step. We call them Gatherings. The one thing we learned long ago, was how impersonal social media can be. So we go out of our way to actually meet our fellow members on here in person.
Find out who is on your area, and meet up for lunch and a beer. There are also larger Gatherings around the US and Europe, where you can meet and ride with groups of people. This is where you really get moved from being an in-law to being a brother.
Welcome, and I hope to meet you at a Gathering soon.

I was going to say that I have been surprised by all the old bikes people are finding. Then I realized mine is 16 years old. But still, the amount of 2000 and older Dogs that are surfacing is amazing. And still all original too. Just go to show how awesome these bike are, and despite their few flaws, they are enduring the test of time.

Leaving it all behind
If you look around there are an amazing number of bikes that have very little miles on them and are in prestine condition. I bought a 2007 K-9 in 2019 with 1300 miles. Look around i have run across many bikes that were bought and sat in a garage and shown off it impress their friends and girlfriends but were never ridden. Good deals out there.

Yes well said ! I'll just say hello right here if that's ok. Born and raised in Louisville Ky. and now reside in Sparta Tn. Just picked up an 05 Bulldog with just under 4000 miles on it, still trying to figure how to operate the factory air ride...lol I'm always up for a cold beer and a burger looking forward to warmer weather plenty of riding and meeting some new folks.
