Working on a 2004 Bull Dog. I posted about a short in wiring last night, trying to determine what a particular part is. I called BDM this morning and found out this part is a PDM only used for a very short time. It was suggested that I change out to the EHC RIP kit sold by BDM, just looking for feedback to see if anyone knows about this product or if there is a better option out there. Thanks Dave

with Axel's, you get a 2 year warranty (last I heard) and for electrical, that is unheard of. I've heard a lot of good talk about that replacement, but I think it is meant to replace the EHC, don't know about yours. but do check with Curtis.

Welcome. I had a PDM and it was a piece of crap. It got fried and I got a RIP. If the bike has the PDM, the backbone harness is no longer stock so if you go Axel's, you need to buy a backbone harness as well. If you go RIP, you get the harness. Either way you need a new harness.
