Started my 08 117" last night and about a mile down the road I started to notice a slight popping/ missfire. It was happening at all rpms, stopped quick to check for blown head gasket or plug wires loose and it wasn't that. Limping the bike home it ran like pure shit when I.was trying to go 30 or so and almost wanted to die on me, so I sped up and seemed to be better around 55. Everytime there is a missfire I can see a flash on my neutral light on my Speedo?? Got home checked my wires, coil, plugs, all were fine. Possible ignition module? Or could this be a cam sensor since I can rev the piss out of the bike and it is ok, only under load does it miss. Any help would be great

There is no cam sensor only a crank sensor. Located adjacent to the shift linkage on the left front of the engine.

Look for loose connections on the coil, battery etc:

Ok that's what that sensor is! I already have my coil/ wires apart. No loose connections and coil tested ok with my meter. Plugs are not fouled

I would check your battery terminals first. Mine did that a couple weeks ago and I had a loose power cable at the battery
