well after changing my forks seals 2 times in the last 3 months i finally figured out what was causing them to leak. A local bike store where i live recommended some fork oil for me to try. Well my seals kept leaking and i changed them twice and come to found out it was a heavy fork oil. Guess when the forks compressed the fluid was too thick to spread out and the only place it had to move air was out my seals which was causing them to leak. I went back to the thinner fork oil and guess what??? no more leaking. So a lesson learned the hard way. Just stick with what works and stop trying different fluids that someone else recommends if they dont know crap about our DOGS!

the bottle did not show a weight of the oil but when i went back the the original oil you could tell a difference. the heavy oil was like honey and the original oil was a lot thinner. i have put over 300 miles on it now and now signs of leaking. when i tried the heavy oil i had seals leaking within 20 miles each time. I thought maybe my tubes were getting worn since I have about 40,000 miles on my 07 K9.
