I'm having trouble with the low beam on my headlight. I pulled the light out and found the wiring harness melted and thought of its age that it was a oops. So I changed the connector and repaired all the mess and all is well until the other day and it went out again. I am working long hours and just got off night shift so I havnt had time to pull it again but I am assuming same problem. I have not had anytroubles what so ever other than this so any ideas would be helpful. The highbeam has worked constantly along with everyting else. Thanks:confused:

There is a recall on the newer dogs which includes a big coil on the ground wire. That may have something to do with it.

You can kinda see it here

The induction coil has done squat for my plug overheating. Had it happen once and switched to a direct jack to each of the three H/L terminals....no problems so far.

Problems started AFTER the coil mod went in the bucket. I thought it was done for the F'd up ground problem they had -- is that correct?

I got my headlight fixed. Loose ground Thanks Gas. I am now having some trouble with my right brake light. It doesnt come on when I turn the bike on but the turn signal and brake parts of the light work. I changed the bulb and fiddled with some of the wires and have not had any luck any advice.

 Did that last night and what da ya know screwed up wires. Where they were fiberglassed into the fender they fell down and Im not sure but im guessing that I am going to have to refiberglass them into the fender. Anybody have any good ideas or tricks to fiberglassing. Im sure I can do it but tricks make everything easier.:whoop:
