Headlight

The head light on my k9 quit working. The high beam light stays (blue light) on and will not even go to dim. Just wondering if a bulb might be blown or if anyone has any ideas. Looked at the owners manual but it seemed to be worthless. Any ideas or suggestions would greatley be appreciated. Thanks!

check plug socket,look for bad connection or melt down,may be the dreaded EHC,maybe bad ground,bulb could be bad,just sayn

Check your bulb first, I know from past bikes that if the low beam goes out, the bike automatically switches to the high beam until you replace the bulb. This would also be the easiest thing to check and replace. Good luck!

Use a good Hex wrench to get the screw out that holds the outer chrome ring in. Make sure u use loctite when placing the screw back in. There is a thread on replacing the headlight...

If you need a bulb you may want to look at Jake's Low Down Chop Shop and consider one of those high intensity bulb and ballast up grades. Way brighter from what I've read. I plan to upgrade the first time I need a bulb, if not sooner.

mine just quit too. first the low beam went and it defaulted to the hi beam. couldn't get it off hi beam little blue lite stayed lit all the time. next thing the little blue lite started blinking and no hi beam headlight. tore it apart and both elements were out in the bulb. need new bulb
