Anyone have any tips on how to clean cloudy headlight lens without using restoration kits that have a dozen steps including sanding ?

Wet sand with 1000, small buffer wheel with compound, buff with polish. Do it every day and usually lasts about a year.

I wish I had more money.
I've seen a guy use regular white tooth paste and a mothers ball. It worked well but took a little longer to clean the residue. I'm going to try it when needed.

I use 1500 wet sand to get the ozidation off and the use a buffer with Mequires #1 fine cut polishing compound.

150K and going strong. Have used the Novus several times and have good results.
Best way though is to hit 2 deer like last year and get new ones!
Would rather buy new toys like the fishing boat I have on order.

I used the McGuires Kit with good look. Bascially came with a power ball type tool and some paste. Cleaned them right up in about 5 min of use each.

That was on my 1999 Toy Tacoma with 211K on it.
