Headlight housing adjustment

The start point if I recall correctly is to sit on the bike and have some one check that the headlight is level. ie find themod point of the back of housing and mid of front and that should be a level line.
After that adjust to your tastes -- I prefer finding a dark unlit street and tweaking it for the best I can see than move away from that if too many cars flash their lights at me (or throw their high beams on in retalliation).
For the most part, I try not to drive long distance at night any more.
Had to do it on my way home from the Farm, over 100 miles -- mostly no traffic -- curent LED headlight was rocking it on highbeam!
Then I got caught behind a slow moving Circus-- yes a real cirus carvan of animals -- was behind them for 15-20 slow miles (couldn't see past them to get around them at night.)

Something was going around for sure, my Chopper wet sumped something fierce for the first time and spit out a ton of oil when i started it up Saturday morning to head to Daytona. I called off the trip rather than risk it not being a one time glitch from sitting too long.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck Mick. I never saw a wrecker like that before . Very interesting set up looks home made.
Thx Mike. I don’t know about that set up exactly but I have seen this guy before around Melbourne and had his card. He was at Space Coast Harley once when I was there and had a Boss Hoss on it. So I figured he was the guy to call. Very Professional Service. Got me loaded & home with no problems.
 :chopper:
