Looking to find a 40's or 50's model p/u, ford or chevy, to play with and haul my baby down to FL from NC on occasion. Any suggestions? Of course it's about quality but really it's about what looks cooler with the chopper behind it.

I knew someone would say that. LOL. That's why I mentioned occasionally. I take my kid some times. He gets pretty fidgety after 200 miles. Made that ride a million times but I have a passenger now.

I'm holding out for a 47-54 Chevy pickup as a future project myself, good luck there out there, that would be a nice pair to see!!!

Cab overs, o boy if I could get my hands on a 39 ford. I had a 56 GMC in my hands, but due to things beyond my control, I missed out.

My kid and I are totally into that COE. Always been a bike guy so I'm not to informed on the old stuff. Thanks for the advice.

Just about ready to start in on the 39 Plymouth p81 pick up I that I inherited from my father in law. the grandson seems to think he would like to have it when it's done. Can't decide between stock, or rat rod. Leaning toward stock.

The one truck I wish I still had was a 53 Ford 1/2 ton with a 413 Chrysler wedge motor, dual quads and four speed. that sucker would fly. It had a tendency to eat up the stock rear ends, but I got really good at replacing them. The local cops must have liked me, cause they were always finding me to discuss my driving habits.:oldnono:
