Has anyone done a trans plate mod?

Morning BDB. I was wondering if anyone has done a trans plate mod. I remember reading a post about a member doing this. I'm looking at doing a complete teardown and wanted to ask someone about this mod.

Why, you trying to add a air setup?

I gave it some thought but never did it
