Hard to manually push when off in neutral

I was pulling up into my driveway today as usual and I stalled. I started back up again went a little further and stalled again. I realized I was in second instead of first, duh. So I put it in first got up the driveway and shut it off.
Since I have a single car garage it takes several adjustments to back the bike in from the forward driving in position so I shut it off when doing so. Normally everything goes quite smoothly however today it took an unusual amount of muscle to get it to move around (while in neutral).
It felt as though I had a flat tire but I checked the PSI and it was holding strong at 35. So I muscled it into position and left it for a while. Then just for chuckles I tried to move it again maybe 40 minutes later and it started rolling around smoothly as it usually does.
Anything to be concerned about or just a fluke?

Sometimes on my K9 and VTX, I don't quite get the bike into neutral even though I have the neutral showing. Doesn't happen very often. I would just keep an eye on it. If it keeps happening, I would check it out. This has only happened to me about 2 times on each bike. I think it wasn't just me.

It feels like it could be.
Happened again yesterday, two days in a row.
Shut er off and hard to move, waited about 30 minutes and was easier but not smooth like normal.

I concur with posts #3 and #5.
Nipple break and the caliper releases = Master cylinder.
Nipple break at the caliper and no release = Quad ring slowly moves back to square/memory.

Yesterday it rolled back smoothly with no "gripping" issues. I'll look at the front caliper when I install the Wild Steel Worx bleed screw

I simply cleaned the quad groove and out comes a pile of crud you forgot to gouge out... That's what I'm thinking. That caliper was wiped clean. no squid sanding but the machine finish still noticeable. What is hidden is the shit left in the groove.

was the matter cylinder piston that needed to be rebuilt.
The rebuild allowed the piston on the caliper to retract so no more difficulty moving the bike manually
Thanks for the update and glad ya got it figured out and fixed! Now to ride!!
