Hard cut off @ 70MPH???

Think i posted the wrong place the first time (just a rookie).

I was heading back from the Memorial day ride at about 70MPH and the engine shut off completely!! I drifted to the side, noticed the speedo and tech were locked at 70MPH and 2500RPM.. really weird!! I turned the key off and back on and everything started and ran fine home. Fortunately this time i didn't need acceleration and i had a place to pull of, but i don't want to be in that condition again.

Anybody have any ideas?? 04 chopper, 107 cc.

Check your battery cables they tend to loosen every now and then cause some werd shit to happen as well.

Happened to me 25 times at least coming back from laughlin river run. Same thing, died completely until key recycled. I recycled it on the run with trucks behind me and popped the clutch at 75-80 mph- that was fun.

My problem turned out to be the ehc the dealer said. Replaced it, has run fine since- until it needs to be replaced again. I'm on number three. Good luck.
