FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.......I completely agree, most Harbor Freight stuff is junk....however....I bought this jack for $59, 8-10yrs ago and use the crap out of it. It looks like the Sear's brand just different color.

With my 03 BD Chopper it was easier to roll the rear tire up on a 2x6, bike would teeter and best to put a 2x4 under the stand as well. For the past couple of years I've been using it to service the Street Glide and the stand rolls under the frame nicely. When lowering the bike the release peddle is touchy....there is a fix write-up with a stop bolt....but just be careful and lower slowly. No big deal.

OR .... GO OUT AND PAY FOR THE DELUXE. :hi:

Sorry but all that Harbor Freight stuff is junk. Everytime I get something from there is breaks. I won't spend any real money at that place.
I have had cheap tools from there that lasted about 3 months, but you get what you pay for. Most stuff has a year warranty though. I have this lift and it works well. Keep in mind that you have to have the frame balanced perfectly otherwise you have a teeter totter on your hands.

Got an email with the motorcycle lift on sale for $69.99. I have the same lift it isn't the best but it will get the job done. Lift does not slide right under my Ridgeback, I ride it up on a small board to get the lift underneath.

Either way, its cheap and works. If your in the market for one and are tight on funds here is your opportunity.

Also if you don't have a Harbor Freight near you they flat ship for only $8.99

Motorcycle Jack / ATV Lift - 1500 Lb. Capacity
I bought this lift and use it, but the only way I get it to slide under is to raise my air suspension up.
Not the most trustworthy but to clean the bike makes it worthwhile.

Just like anything mechanical. Periodically check bolts, welds and parts. Takes a minute to look over a bike lift. Hf and craftsman jacks are fine for what they are. I lock the lift in the safety position. No way its failing unless a bolt breaks

had mine since i got the bike. got to use what you can afford and have space to use it in. single car garage and the queen of the house has to park her car in here too so tight fit with bike and car both. like others say check over for safety reasons...
