Yesterday was my son's 6th birthday so we decided to go fishing. I took him to a remote pond you need a 4x4 to get to, nobody fishes there because it's so difficult to get to and I have permission to use the 14' boat that was stashed there years ago. I rowed steady for 3 hours trolling and we landed 6 rainbows on ultra light rods. He caught the biggest fish of the day, just over 15" and it almost pulled the rod out of his hands when it hit! He was half way through a bag of cheese puffs on the way home and he proclaimed "this was the greatest day ever!" I couldn't agree more.
