Handlebar question

To those of you that have changed your grips to something custom, I know our handlebars are 1 1/4 but do they taper down at the grip or do we need 1 1/4 grips to fit?

Slippery was my concern too. I must say with the thicker tips the boots hold in there pretty well.... Not slippery!

About vibrations. No change... my bike doesn't vibrate too much... just the normal with these bikes. Handle-bar & Pegs do NOT vibrate while riding... just a little bit on Idle.

Had the same on my Ridgeback when I got it, but didn´t like the non rubber feeling under my boots when riding, changed to stock.
