Hey all....I know I'm new and ask allot of goofy questions but have to do it....you all know tons about these bikes....I'm still very green here...

Anyway I'm having some lower back issues and not sure if it is coming from riding my K9.....but I do have some pain after riding her....

I was thinking about swapping my K9 handle bars for 08 Ridge back handle bars to bring me back some in a more upright position...???or trying to get my seat fixed maybe, put some gel in, not sure if that would do it....put more back support in there....seams like the stock K9 seat gives me back support but not sure were I'm getting lower back issues....ahhhhh....getting old I guess..lol....

any thoughts....????....

thanks much for listening....

I get lower back pressure when my knees are up to high. The fwd control extensions relieve a lot of this pressure.
Only other thought is to have one of our seat guys put more shape in the back of your seat or put a bag on the back seat to lean against.

The most comfortable positioin to be riding in is leaning a little bit forward. Leaning back is not good for you.

A good seat can go a long way. I had some ortho pad put in mine and I can ride her all day long and my ass or back doesn't get soar. Also try sucking in your gut, it helps to support your lower back that and some crunches could help to. If your stomache isn't supporting your body your back is.
