They do make metal buttons, I believe jp cycles sells the buttons. You may need to rewire the controls though.

Just go on Ebay. They have a chrome kit which are just covers and are simple to put on.

I saw that most are plastic chrome buttons didn’t know if they had metal chrome buttons
