Another round please
Hello. The bushings in my bars at the trees seem to be shot. The bars move to much and the throttle cable hits the tank when i turn it. Are there any better ones to install? Where? 04 bull dog is what I have. Thanks.

Welcome Barhopper, how about doing an intro in the "intro" section and telling us about yourself.

I have replaced the cheap rubber bushings on both of my Big Dogs with the polyuerathane bushings. They are available in soft or hard and will stiffen up your bars greatly but you will get some more vibration.
I get them at Wild 1 or better known as Chubby's.
Wild 1, Inc. - Chubbys, custom handlebars for harley davidson + parts & accessories

Click on the map link and pin yourself and show us a pic of your bike.

Later,

I think Big Dog came out with a set of improved bushings as well...dealer put a set in for me @ 1500 mile service under warranty. My cables were hitting the tank also.
