Handle Bar brake switch

I recently and successfully repaired the right side control board on my 06 Mastiff. While doing so, I made sure to check the brake switch (reed switch) with my DVM. This all worked fine and after assembly and careful alignment of the switch and magnetic actuator , I still have no brake light from the grip ! I don't have a good schematic if any one can provide me one that would be great. In the mean time....am I overlooking something here ?
