I am very interested in this key switch. It sounds like the kind I want.

Could you post some pics of the switch?

Where is it mounted? Do you have any other information on it? Does it have any numbers on it?
I can take a few better pics tonight when I get home and see if there is any part numbers or anything. Its a nicer key then a lawnmower though.
But here is a pic of the location, I assume its the stock location?

There is some times I wish I had a speedo, and sometimes I wish i had rear turns but normally only at night on a back road or something turning right. left no worries.

No we dont have annual inspections. BUT the law for a motor cycle in Alabama requires only:
one mirror (left or right it does not matter)
tag light
brake light (single light counts on back)
running lights (head and tail) (single light counts on back)

thats it. its legal at that point. ha

I have factory tag LEDs, factory 2 rear LED lights/brake lights, a low beam always on, and a Mirror on the right.

The key switch you have looks just like the switch on my zero turn lawnmower. It has the 4 way position. Any 4 way will work it's just trying to make it fit the stock mount and adding a relay. There is not a lot of room in that stock mount.

Just curious.... why (the mirror) on the right??? In Europe is legal to have only one too... but it must be on the left as we drive on the right side, same as you.

Wouldn't it be more useful on the left? (unless your always riding on the left lane) :D

To be honest? I have no Idea, It was done like this when I scooped it up, and I have not changed the bars / controls because I liked them. I personally want 2 mirrors, be cause I am OCD, and to me having only one makes it look un even. ha but i have yet to find mirrors I like. (been looking for some I can mount upside down too, so you looking under your forarm)

Guys, just went through this old post... Reading that HHI hand controls doesn't have rear brake switch. Anyone can confirm that has I am running through some issues with brake light and your answer will facilitate my trouble shooting... Thanks!

Welcome from NJ,
I can't speak to your question about the HHI controls but post which bike you have and what your problem is with the tail lights. Someone on this site may have experience with your particular problem and be able to help you without having to rewire your bike.

More details here on my issues: just bought a 2009 Crossbones equipped with HHI 18" bars and HHI fully integrated wiring. My break light with both front and rear brake does not works but when I shortcut it at the rear brake switch, it works... So I am going to replace that rear brake switch and was wondering if those HHI controls have such switch as they are far from the OEM ones and before breaking everything to get into it, want to make sure that there is a switch in....
