Half baffels difference????

Is there that much difference to cut baffles in half...? Running V&H Big Radis would it make a difference...?..Deeper or just louder..?

I guess my thoughts are,

Stock BR baffles, suck :down:

Stock BR baffles cut down, better :up:

Big City Thunder baffles for the BR pipes, even better :2thumbs:

No baffles at all.............Wicked ass loud!!!

Fat has it right. Just cut them down. You won't be disappointed!

Is rejetting needed just for cutting them in half?

Dr Pepper23, I cut mine a little more than in half and I like the sound better, not a hole lot louder, plus got rid of that hissing sound too. I had already re-jetted for the BR's and didn't have to for cutting them down. Remember you can start cutting them down a little at a time until you get what you want.

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if any of you have had problems with baffle-less pipes and Law Enforcement? Reason I ask is my S&S 124 Super Sidewinder blew out the newly installed baffles this weekend and I'm sure loving the sound again.
FWIW I live in the Bay Area Calif.

I don't think any LEO has rules on how long the baffle just that its there.
