Changed cam sensor, started out just fine, thunderheart ignition lit up, good to go. NOPE, restarted after sitting for a few minutes, got home shut it off, no light on ignition box, Thunderheart box was bad. Earlier in day I drove for two hours, found a box and cam sensor and all is good. Glad I asked what else it could be if the cam sensor didn't fix it, and glad a ignition box was available too. All the local HD dealers were out of them (sensors), could order them though. $170!! But,rode it last night for quite a while, not a hiccup, seems to idle and run better too. The whole cut off and turn the key off/on thing has been going on for awhile, glad its fixed.

It Quit today, couple backfires and nothing, luckily pretty close to a shop, right when they were closing, Came with trailer and picked me up. No spark, but thunderheart was lit up,I think the coil died this time, pretty much only thing not changed. Hopefully it's just the coil. First time it's left me stranded, wife and i were gonna head up to Hagerstown,MD in the AM, Glad it died today where it did instead of in the middle of nowhere on a sunday morning.

Got it back yesterday afternoon, Broken power wire to coil. Couldn't find that on the side of the road. Ten years of vibrations got it.
