Had a little fun last night

1) Swapped my Mean Mothers for V&H 2-2 and rejetted. Honestly, they sound about the same IMHO, but I think the V&H are much "cooler" looking. Two things I noticed, the V&H stick out from the bike/frame a LOT more than the MM (less leg clearance), and damn they ARE looow! (Maybe 4" of clearence, I dragged them on the first turn!) I'll probably sell the MM if someone's interested.

2) Installed my RED Dakota Digital - awesome swap.

3) Installed LowDown's 10000k HID. I have the 6000k too, but "upgraded" to the 10000k, big improvement. Not quite as bright, but definitely lights up the road. I prefer the 10k color over the 6k, the 10k looks much more like the HID in my Jeep. (BTW, his gas cap is highly recommended!!!!)

4) Mounted my stash can, no big deal, but I dig it.

5) Installed my Braille battery and feeling pretty worry free. All I have left to do is ride.

I bought my my bike used with the mean mothers on it but always thought the big radious looked better too.
but now that you mention less ground clearence I'll keep the MM

Nice! I got the 10000 also and the blue light looks really cool on my blue bike. If anyone is worried that it won't be bright enough...don't. Got the Dakota also with blue display and dig it too. Got the MMs and don't plan on changing them out anytime soon. Did the Wire Plus also...will be posting free ignition and EHC up on here soon.

Did you get the 2-1 for the 300 tire Mastif? Did you use the bracket that came with it, or did you have to fabricate one? Put some pics of it up, would love to see how it looks.

No, that's what I thought at first too. I confirmed I got the 26025 new in box off ebay, for the '05-'06's Mastiff. Used the supplied mounting bracket, but noticed it does stick out a bit more than the MM. I could put a different bracket in there, but figured it'd stress the head bolts since that's the natural bend of the exhaust...

Used the supplied mounting bracket, but noticed it does stick out a bit more than the MM. Those are V&H 2-2, I have seen the V&H 2-1 on a 250 tire mastif or Coyote on here before. If someone has these please chime in.

Reddog, I like mine. My friends call them the street sweepers. You will find out soon if you haven't already.... Great sound, and they look great. Ground clearance has never made me move any slower in the corners, and the bottom tip bends in nicely...

Can anyone tell me if on an 05 Chopper the V&H's 2into2 Big Radius stick out more than the Hooker Widetails on the bike now?
Don't want to burn my leg any more than now.
