Grips & Pegs - Such A Thing As Endcaps?

Energy One
Just curious - does one have to replace the entire grips & pegs or are there such a thing as endcaps? Doesn't make much sense but someone I know said that pegs don't have to be replaced, that you can replace the ends to add things like points, etc.

I was like... really?

No on the BDM pegs .. they're solid. On the grips, you could take them off and drill/fit spikes on the end. But I don't know how much you would like the final appearance.

That being said, I've wondered about adding a mirror on the end of the left grip instead of running two. Decided I liked the view instead.

I wonder if this is something that Jake and Cav could come up with..

But as it stands now... you just have to buy new pegs/grips.

does anyone know where I could get a set of nicely padded chrome grips without spiked ends that will actually fit my 07 Chopper? Kuryakan and other manufacturers grips just don't fit the propritary handlebars of a Big Dog. I found some real nice chrome and soft rubber padded grips but they just don't have a hole big enough to fit our handlebars.
Thanks, BBD

I'm looking into starting a line of grips for the bikes now. But that will be 60 to 90 days out. Other than XO Products, I haven't found much in aftermarket
