No, actually this IS my first tat. I promise!!! I'm still just learning what I'm doing.
I believe Ed is telling the truth. I asked him when I spent some time with him if he did tats and he told me no cause they were permanent. He could always start over on a piece of metal if it did not meet his standards...

with the style of gas cap i have it wouldn't look right i would have to order a whole different style of cap

Ed you keep going on the tattoo stuff and i might just have to have you put that tank picture on my back that would be a good back piece :2thumbs:

Slow down now! I don't feel confident enough for that yet! My brother-in-law has been trying to put a tattoo gun in my hands for years. I finally took the plunge when he wanted me to do a cover-up, stating that I couldn't make it look any worse. It's a hard thing to get comfortable with when you know you can't fix a mistake.
On a paint job, I know that no matter how bad I "F" something up, I can always fix it. This is different. Maybe that's why it has a different sense of pride and reward when you get it right - and you didn't screw it up!
