Green light trigger

Has anybody tried one of these units? Constantly not triggering a green light. If you have and it works, does it have to be out in the open or could I place it in the bottom of my tool bag mounted on the lower frame of my bike? They are small and cheap if they function well.

I believe they are only supposed to trigger the sensors to let them know you are there, not make the light turn faster. Got a link, so we can look at what you have?

Your correct. Just wonder if they work. I don't have one and I don't trust testimonies on ads. Seems like they are just a magnet of some kind to disrupt the energy field. Just type in google(green light trigger). 3 or 4 b4rands out there. About 1/2 the damn pads around my house will not trigger a green while on my bike.

I agree! Nothing worse than sitting at a light and watching it bypass you as if you weren't even there! :bang::spank:

I guess you might have to just try one. Do you go to the all truck nationals in Carlisle? I'm there every year.

I had one years ago. Seems like I had to lower my kickstand to make it work everytime. I know, I know sounds crazy. Had a 2002 Yamaha Midnight Star at the time. I think you have to make sure your within the sensors on the pavement.

I go to most of the shows. Which brings up a point, I know some members must go to the bike show, have seen some you tube vids. I know the factory truck will be there this year again. Event is July 23rd-25th. Should try and hook up with some members on Saturday afternoon at the truck, then maybe a bar hop. We should be able to beat the 17 dogs picture.

I am a dealer for The Green Light Trigger. I carried them for a couple years but discontinued them due to slow sales. In my opinion they do work. But only at a signal triggered by an induction loop and its sensitivity must be adjusted properly. Most motorcycles do not have enough metal mass to trigger a light that is adjusted to recognize a car or larger vehicle. I only had one issue with them and that was I had a few customers that bad mouthed me (not from this forum) when they did not work on a given signal they were having problems with. It was said I was selling Snake Oil. With that being said if there was enough interest I could put together a group buy. The item is The Green Light Trigger HP model. It retails for $$24.95 and I could offer them for $19.75 each. I also need to order at least 12. Here is a link to the product.

I have a great big old horseshoe magnet, flip it upside down and weld it to the Frame. Wait, can't do that, don't want to pour the luck out onto the ground. I guess I am in if you can get enough interest. If not, I might buy one and I can pretty quickly let the group know my results.

If all they are is magnets, then buy some spikes and stuff from Jake (Lowdown Chop Shop) here on the forum.

s. carolina says if you are at a light for more than 2 minutes and it doesn't change for you, you can run it at the next convenient time. or so i read.

All you need is a powerful rare earth magnet. I have one on the bottom of my chop that I got at a surplus store for 5 bucks. Its about 1.5" x 1.5" and it works abouuut 95% of the time. The magnet needs to be on the bottom of the frame and as close to the ground as you can get it. The further away the less it works.

I have one and it seems to work if I'm in the loop in the right spot.
Other times it's like I'm not even there.
Where you cross and or stop seems to be key.
I mounted mine under the frame cross piece under the transmission.
